The BOMA e-EnergyTraining for Building Operators contributes to raising the energy efficiency awareness and competencies of building operators and, ultimately, will reduce energy use in this sector.

Course content is delivered online, in a self-learning format via the Internet. This method allows the participants to learn at their own pace and provides access from remote locations, eliminating the need to travel to a central location to participate.

The overall goal is to provide practical training for building operators that can be applied to day-to-day operations. A significant focus is on energy management opportunities, both operational and through capital projects. Upon completion, it is expected that operators will be better able to identify and implement energy savings initiatives in commercial buildings.

The target audience is experienced building operators and building engineers who already have a solid understanding of commercial building mechanical and electrical systems.
